Shipping & Delivery Policy

This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to all orders placed via SummitLock, owned by Viggo Brenner. By making a purchase, you agree to the terms below.

1. Processing Time

We typically use 1–2 business days to process your order.

Orders placed in the evening, on weekends, or on public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

Once your order has been processed and dispatched, you will receive an order confirmation and a shipping confirmation by email.

2. Delivery Times & Shipping Methods

We ship products from our international warehouse.

Shipping from international warehouse (e.g., China)

  • International parcel shipping with tracking

  • Estimated delivery time: 5–10 business days

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by busy periods, customs processing, or local conditions.

Note: Products in the same order may be shipped in separate packages depending on stock availability.

3. Shipping Confirmation & Tracking Number

When your order ships, you will receive an email with:

  • dispatch confirmation

  • a tracking number or tracking link

Please check your spam/junk folder if you cannot find the email.

4. Shipping Costs

We offer free shipping on all orders, unless otherwise stated at checkout.

This applies both within the EU and for international shipping.

5. Customs, VAT & Import Fees

Our prices are excluding Danish VAT.

If an item is shipped from our international warehouse (e.g., China), the following fees may apply when the package arrives in Denmark:

  • customs duties (if applicable under the EU customs tariff)

  • customs handling/clearance fees (e.g., charged by PostNord)

These fees are charged by customs authorities or the carrier, and must be paid by the customer.

SummitLock does not charge these fees and does not refund them.

If the item is shipped from our Nordic warehouse, there are typically no import costs.

6. Incorrect Address & Uncollected Packages

It is the customer’s responsibility to enter correct information when placing an order.

If a package cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address, or if it is not collected and is returned to us, we may charge fees for return shipping and handling.

Packages returned as “not collected” are not considered a valid use of the right of withdrawal.

7. Delays

We cannot guarantee delivery times. Delays may be caused by:

  • high volumes at the carrier

  • customs inspections

  • weather conditions

  • public holidays

  • unforeseen global events (pandemics, strikes, etc.)

We always do our best to ensure fast delivery and are happy to help track your package.

8. Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your package:

  • arrives damaged, or

  • appears to be lost,

please contact us as soon as possible.

  • your order number

  • a description of the issue

  • photos of damage to the product or packaging (if relevant)

We will then assist you in accordance with Danish consumer complaint law and our return policy.
